Hello everyone! We have a new Yesterday’s Matinee up! Courtney, Jon and I sit down to talk about the 1958 comedy Auntie Mame. Just to be clear, this is not the musical adaptation Mame starring Lucille Ball, but the film adaptation of the play that the musical was later adapted from, starring the incomparable Rosalind Russell.
THERE WILL BE SPOILERS!!!
Content Warning: Though considered a family friendly slapstick comedy, this film has adult themes, racism, a scene of sexual assault, and a discussion about a school that supports nudism.
